Here at AsIsToBeDIY, most of us have a long history working in consultancy environments, where the pressure from our bosses was to get on client sites and be billable. This meant offering to share a relatively small amount of expertise, but only after we had fully understood their business, and therefore could make sure that we applied our expert knowledge in the right way based on the clients business. In other words, we’d bill them to learn what they do for weeks if not months, in exchange for a small amount of net additional expertise and value to their business. This didn’t sit well with us. With a huge recent surge in small business and entrepreneurial growth, there are more businesses than ever that want to tap into expertise as a way to fast-track their development and achieve their business goals. Here at AsIsToBeDIY, we want to help make that happen. We offer affordable manuals that are tailored to your business, giving you easy and affordable access to expertise that is 100% relevant to your business (and no expensive billable consultants involved).

How It Works

We’ve tried to make this as simple as possible. Just follow these steps.Step 1: Choose a manual
Each manual is focused on the achievement of a specific goal. Find the ones that are appropriate to your business / situation.Step 2: Answer the questions, to enter your details
Upon choosing a manual, you will be asked a series of questions. This is required to customise the manual specifically to your business. It’s down to you to provide the correct information. Your details are only used within AsIsToBeDIY for the production of the manuals. Your details are safe with us, and will not be shared with anyone else.Step 3: Receive your manual, and follow the step-by-step instructions
We will then produce a customised, clear, step-by-step instruction manual (just like you get with your flat-pack furniture), and send it to you. All you have to do is follow the instructions, one-by-one, to achieve that goal.
We offer a 100% refund guarantee. If you’re not happy, tell us why and we’ll happily refund the cost of the manual.

Our Charity Pledge

Aside from helping awesome small businesses grow, we are also keen to help noble and honourable charities. These organisations often rely on donations and do not have the spare funds to allocate to consultative projects to help achieve their business goals.This is why AsIsToBeDIY has set up a charity pledge, and you are invited to help us.When we launch our membership packages for access to our manuals, we will also introduce our charity pledge.Every time that you take out a membership to our manuals, a charity (of your choice – if not, ours) will also be offered an equivalent membership.So not only does your business get to achieve your goals with the benefit of access to a wide range of manuals, but a charitable business will also be able to do the same… for free, thanks to you.

The purpose of the manual is that it is customised specifically to your business, in the attainment of a specific business goal.__The manuals are do-it-yourself (DIY)__
We give you the specific instructions for you to follow, specifically for your business. It’s up to you to actually make it happen.__The manuals are for specific goals__
Each manual gives you the step-by-step instructions to achieve a very specific goal. The manuals are not for standard operational tasks, or day-to-day activities.If you can think of a good idea for a manual that we don’t yet off, please do get it touch so that we can add it to our list of new manuals!

Affiliates

AsIsToBeDIY also runs an Affiliate programme. • How are manuals customised to my business?

It’s very simple. We ask you a couple of questions, and then customise a step-by-step project manual for you, to achieve that business goal on your own.

• Why aren't all the manuals free to use?

Some of the manuals are free, because we want as many businesses as possible to benefit from them.Some of the business goals covered in our manuals can be complex, very specific or add a significant amount of business value. So we set a price for the manuals to reflect this.

• Are there any discount codes or offers?

Sorry no. It’s the same fair prices for everyone… unless you’re a charity (as we will give an equivalent subscription to your chosen charity for free when you take an annual subscription).

• What if I'm not happy with the manual?

We sincerely try to make your customised business manual as useful, relevant and impactful as possible.But if it’s not and you’re not happy, contact us and tell us why – and we’ll refund you the charge for the manual.

• Why do you need my information?

We can’t customise manuals for you without knowing about you in the first place! We only ask questions relevant to that particular manual / goal. We respect your privacy and treat the data you share with us with the upmost respect. We do not share anything with anyone else.

• Can you just complete this work for me?

Unfortunately no. Then it won’t be ‘do-it-yourself‘ (DIY). We do not offer any services to help you actually complete the work that we set out in your manuals.

• Can I just find this information on the web?

There’s lots of great content on the web, but most of it is generic, with lots of vague “how to’s” and “top 5” lists of things to try. You have to read all these and work out if they’re relevant to your business. If so, you then have to figure how to apply this to your business, which takes a lot of time.With our manuals, we do all that hard work for you, and only give you fully customised content that is 100% aligned to your business.

Not every manual has a price – there are some manuals that are free to use. This doesn’t mean that they’re less useful or valuable. We just want you to use them!

Individually Priced Manuals

Each chargeable manual is unique and will achieve different goals, and so prices may differ. Charges are only applied at the end of the customisation process

Pre-Qualification

You will never pay for a manual you don’t need. As part of the manual customisation process, it’s impossible to get as far as paying for a manual if you don’t need it.

Choose Your Plan

You can either pay-as-you-go for manuals when you need them, or sign-up for an annual subscription to use any manual (including exclusive members-only manuals)

Our Guarantee

If you’re not 100% happy with a purchase of an individual manual, you can get a full refund. If it turns out that you don't need a particular customised manual, don't pay for it.

Our Charity Pledge

If you take out a subscription plan you can nominate a charity (or we can choose one for you) and they will get exactly the same subscription as you - for free.
